Bill Wilson has worked in the fields of fine art and commercial art for over 20 years. His work is in both corporate and private collections all over the country. He is also a respected art juror and lecturer. He has done storyboarding for the film industry and The Fib: A Wordy Tale is his second book. Along with painting private portrait commissions, continuing gallery work, and commercial illustration, he is currently working on his third book due out spring of 2011.
He received a Bacholor of Arts degree from Belhaven University and soon after began a career in portrait painting. After working on his portraits he would sit and create characters to go along with stories he was writing. This is where the world of Pippin, Maxx, and Dorf began.
His first book, Dorf's Art Lesson, was published by Portrait Brokers of America to benefit Childrens' Harbor.
In his free time Bill oversees the visual aspects of Pippin & Maxx Arts and Entertainment as creative director. |
