Poor Helen
Three D special effects cell phones with Dolby digital surround sound in technicolor with a midget chimpanzee, excuse me, 'little person' chimpanzee, to poke everyone within fifty feet with an electric cattle prod. That's just what every person needs so they can really reach out and annoy everyone on a bus, in a plane, at the movies, etc., etc. Not even Helen Keller would be safe from these things.

Ooops
Everything you know is wrong
Black is white, up is down and short is long
And everything you thought was just so
Important doesn't matter
Everything you know is wrong.
Weird Al Yankovic, probably the greatest philosopher of the twentieth and now the twenty-first century.
Did you know it was a scientific, mathematical impossibility to fold any sheet of paper of any size or shape 12 times. It is, or rather was up until Britney Gallian did it for extra credit in 2002 in her Junior year of high school. Here's her formula for how she did it.

She's in good company. Common wisdom among many of the world's leading scientists in their day was that running the four minute mile and flying an airplane faster than the speed of sound were both scientifically impossible. Whether it be how fast things can go, how big or small they can get, or how many x's can be put inside y's before z amount of time runs out, it only seems to be scientifically or mathematically impossible until someone decides they want to do it really really badly. Then all the computer models and scientific data are rearranged to fit what some upstart did because he or she was too ignorant to realize it was impossible. OOOPS.
